We are committed to both handler and dog. Your success is important to us, which is why we provide additional support even after your training program is completed. 

We are determined to bring out the best in your retriever. We believe that truly exceptional results are produced when a dog’s spirit and morale are high. Our approach emphasizes the importance of finding your canine’s natural pace, while simultaneously developing a positive work ethic.  

We are innovative. Our training methods are exclusive to us and have produced dogs that continue to receive perfect scores in multiple events from many different organizations. We understand that no two dogs are the same. Our programs are tailored to fit the unique temperament, personality and needs of each individual dog.

We challenge the traditional belief that new behaviors must be taught through pressure. Instead we leverage a very simple truth – the intensity of a retriever who KNOWS they can make a retrieve is unparalleled. Therefore, we choose to approach training in reverse, allowing the dog to first build confidence and belief in its own abilities. Whether it be through hand signals, verbal commands, conceptual queues, and/or body movements, we can communicate with our dog confidently.  This confidence produces intensity regardless of the situation.  Simply put – our dogs lean on the handler in times of unsureness, and that’s the mark of an Advent Retriever.

We are inclusive and do not discriminate.  If your dog is healthy and has the desire to retrieve they are welcome!  We accept all breeds, ages, and levels.  Age is not a barrier to transforming your retriever to a hunting companion. 

We are impressive and strive for excellence in producing upper echelon canines who are well-balanced at home and on the field. We aim to provide your dog with as many scenarios as possible to insure a successful hunt.  You will have the dog everyone else wishes they had! 

We are hunters and dog lovers.  Program slots are limited.  We limit capacity for training enrollment programs to ensure each dog is provided with the time and attention it needs.  

We are located in Pleasant Grove, California. Pick-up service available.
